Gerald Haybarker, 84, of Topeka, Kansas passed away August 1, 2020 at his home.

He was born March 14, 1936, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the son of Leo and Dorris (Foos) Haybarker. He received a High School Diploma and went on to serve in the United States Air Force. He served as an air craft electrician.

After retiring from the Air Force, Gerald worked for the Santa Fe Railroad as a supervising electrician.

Gerald married Eloise (Schutter) in Topeka, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include son, Brian Haybarker; daughter, Deborah VanDyke; brother, Leo Haybarker; Grandchildren, Nicole Williams, Jacquelyn VanDyke, Shaunna Haybarker and Joshua Haybarker and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; Son, Keith Haybarker; daughter, Stacey Haybarker; daughter-in-law, Connie Haybarker and son-in-law, Bruce VanDyke.

Honoring Gerald's wishes, cremation is planned. The family will host a memorial gathering at his home on August 8, 2020 at 3:00pm until 5:00pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's choice.
