Janice Ann (Hedin) Smith, 75, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020.
She was born January 15, 1945, in Bruno, Minnesota, the daughter of Albert Clarence and Lenora Linda (Rupp) Hedin. She was a graduate of Askov High School, Askov, Minnesota. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education from the University of Minnesota.
Janice was employed by Coffman, Defries & Nothern for 18 years, retiring in 2020.
Janice married Albert G. Smith on December 26, 1966. He preceded her in death on June 21, 2009. Survivors include her son, Theodore Albert "Ted" (Tara) Smith of Jefferson City, MO; her daughter, Andrea Lynn Smith of Topeka; and her granddaughter, Katelyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Linda Carolyn Kleinheksel.
