Kim was our associate pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church. We all loved Kim for her passion, dedication and honesty. She was fun and had a smile for everyone. She gave so much from her heart. I remember how she helped all of us with ideas for the best nutrition. It was important. My husband, Lou, & I had Alex as a fifth grader in our Backpack after school program at church. Lou & Alex enjoyed talking about science. It was clear he was a bright boy. Kim was a treasure and our hearts go out to her family for their loss. She leaves a shining legacy. Prayers. I remember Kim when they lived in Grant City, Mo. Her father Tom was our pastor. Youth group was at their house and Kim had a crush on my brother Frank. I believe he taught her how to wink. Tom, Jan and family you are all in my prayers. She was a sweet little girl she will be missed .

To Greg and family, we are so sorry for your loss, but are with you in being thankful knowing Kim is no longer suffering. She always had a bright smile to share. I know Sheelah was grateful to have your family for neighbors and friends. I hope photos and memories will give you comfort.

I was so sorry to hear about Kim’s passing. I hadn’t seen her for 30 odd years, but Kim and her parents Tom and Jan and First Christian church were all a big part of my childhood and I have very fond memories of all of them. My deepest sympathies to her family.

Years ago Greg was a pastor at a church in Indiana that I attended. I remember Kim being such a nice and caring person. Seems like such a long time ago but I remember her kindness like it was yesterday.

We have memories of Kim's sermons (and Greg's) which we always felt were meaningful and often spoke to us. We remember the girls when they were little participating in services. Then Paul and Zoe attending camp together and Tiffany and Paul playing in the band together. We also fondly remember the support of Beth's folks until their deaths. Have so appreciated our friendship with Jan and Noble as well, and seeing everyone in church on Sundays was a blessing to us. We have always appreciated and benefitted from our relationship with Kim, Greg, Jan and family. Much love to you all.

I always thought she was beautiful. I remember how she’d personally tuck me in every night at camp Tawakoni, even when I know I’d probably irritated her to no end. I loved when she’d say, “Jesus loves you, and so do I.”

I taught Kim at French Jr. High (English) and directed her in a play at the "Playhouse in the Park," now Helen Hocker Theater. The production was called "Molly," and Kim played the title role. I remember her well as a wonderful young lady with much talent and a great work ethic. She got along so well with everyone and also had a great sense of humor. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I went to Crestview Elementary School with Kim. I remember spending time at her house . To this day, when I drive by her house not far from school, it takes me back to those days. Through Facebook I was able to reconnect with her and follow life events and her journey too. I ran into her at the Mother Earth News Fair a year and a half ago. We chatted and I drove her to her car. So glad for that encounter. A kind and lovely person, she made the world a better place. Monica Schrag

If I could walk up to Kim right now, I would greet her with a hug and say " Hello Brat". Even at 7 years old, there was no doubt she was something special. She was yet another seasoning in the mix of the Youth Gtoup at FCC. Keep flying, Angel.

So many fond memories. One that stands out is taking our son Robert, in the stroller and Jan and Sally walking to Kim's first day of kindergarten. Love you all! Know you are in our thoughts and prayers. Sally Robuck
