Frank Salvatore Saiya, 77, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2019.
He was born July 6, 1941, in Brooklyn, New York, the son of Columbo and Anna (Giordano) Saiya.
An Air Force veteran, Frank retired from Southwestern Bell, and founded Riser Video Productions. Frank was also a dedicated substitute teacher, well-liked by students (no kneecaps were ever broken).
Frank married Ruth Ellen Saiya on November 5, 1993 in Topeka, Kansas and was a member of Grace Episcopal Cathedral.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Ellen Saiya, sons, James (Patricia) Saiya, Christopher (Gwen) Saiya, Steven (Stacey) Saiya, Frank (Abigail) Saiya, daughter, Sheri Saiya; step-sons; James Bell, Daniel (Heather) Bell; ten grandchildren and his brother, Arthur (Maureen) Saiya.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Michael and Edward.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 3:00 pm., Wednesday, May 8, 2019, at Grace Episcopal Cathedral, 701 SW 8th Ave., Topeka, KS 66603.
