Donna J. Huyett, 87, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019.
She was born March 9, 1932, in Bloomington, Nebraska, the daughter of Otie and Bertha (Bowhay) Pike.
Donna married Jacob Huyett on January 9, 1973 in Topeka, KS, he survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Candice Moore, step-son, Jake (Lorie) Huyett, step-son, Brent (Barbara) Huyett, step-son, Jeff Huyett; sister, Betty Gillham; grandchildren, Brandy Boeckman, Jeremiah Huyett, Robb Huyett, Maggie Huyett, and Jon Huyett; 9 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold Pike, Bill Pike, Earl Pike and Lloyd Pike.
Donna had a love for shopping. In her younger years, she was a waitress in Mayetta. She loved to travel with Jacob, together they lived in Washington for 11 years, moved to Edmond, OK for 10 years and after retirement in 2004, they moved back to Topeka.
A Graveside Service will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Memorial Park Cemetery, 3616 SW Sixth Ave., Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Potwin Presbyterian Church 400 SW Washburn Ave. Topeka, KS 66606.
