Donna J. Robinson, 70, of Topeka, passed away on March 22, 2019.

She was born January 17, 1949, in Drexel Hill, PA, the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Brennan) Laverty.

She graduated from Cardinal O’Hara High School in 1966. She went on to earn a degree in nursing from Fitzgerald Mercy Nursing School. She worked for St. Francis Hospital in Topeka for many years.
Ms. Robinson was a member of the Christ the King Catholic Church.

Survivors include children, Amy Robinson, Kelly (Aaron) Anderson; sisters, Janet Janssen, Betsy Hewitt, Arlene Vogel; five grandchildren; a cousin, Randy Laverty; as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and step-father, Emedio Serafino.

Donna will be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, mother, aunt, cousin, grandmother and friend. She was a wonderful nurse, a plant and animal whisperer, gardener, social butterfly, traveler, and shopper. She was kind, sassy, funny, accepting, constantly cooking and baking, strong in her faith, an organ donor, and a thousand other wonderful things.

A memorial mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at the Christ The King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th Street, Topeka. A rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to mass.

Memorial contributions may be made to Pulmonary Hypertension Program: The University of Kansas Hospital, 3901 Rainbow Blvd MS 3007, Kansas City, KS 66160 or to Helping Hands Humane Society 5720 SW 21st Topeka, KS 66604-3720.
