Delos Richmond, 86, of Topeka, passed away Monday, February 11, 2019 with family by his side.

He was born January 30, 1933, in Milford, Michigan, the son of Harold and Malinda (Martin) Richmond.

Delos worked for Dupont as a mechanic, retiring in 1985. After retirement he fulfilled his life dream; building golf courses: Belleview in Atchison and Village Greens in Ozawkie. He was the green Superintendent at Holton Country Club, Belleview Country Club, Horton Golf Course, and Village Greens Golf Course. He held the title of “Golf Pro” for three years at Village Greens and was a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

He loved fishing, playing guitar, and building model ships and airplanes. Above all else he loved spending time with family. He loved to play football in the front yard with his kids, and enjoyed playing the harmonica.
