Mildred L. Collins of Topeka, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the age of 85.

She was born April 1, 1933, in Ottawa, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Nancy (Vanderslice) Bursaw; her husband, Jim and siblings, Lola Wallace, Ervie, Andrew and Theodore.

She is survived by her children, Pam (John) Eagan, Topeka, Tamela (Lynn) Garrett, Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, Randy (Connie) Collins, Topeka, Rick (Karen) Collins, Topeka, Penny (Steve) McCoy, Topeka, and Jimmy (Kathy) Collins, Topeka. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Mildred worked 36 years at Capital Federal Bank, retiring in 2007.
She was a member of First Christian Church, Topeka. In retirement she loved spending time with her family and friends.

A memorial ceremony will be held at 11:00 am., Friday, December 7, 2018, at First Christian Church-Disciples of Christ, 1880 SW Gage , Topeka, Kansas 66604. Visitation will be held the previous evening, Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka, KS 66604. Burial will be at 2:00 pm Friday, December 7, 2018 at West Lawn Memorial Gardens in Topeka, Kansas.

Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, Topeka.
