Celia Sanchez, 88, of Topeka, passed away on November 23, 2018.
She was born on December 17, 1929 in Mexico City, the daughter of Jose and Angela (Ordonez) Granados.
She married Dr. Rogelio Sanchez in 1955. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2011. She was also preceded in death by four siblings.
She is survived by sons, Jaime Sanchez, Rick Sanchez, and Lou Sanchez; and a grandson, Alex Sanchez.
Celia volunteered at Bishop Elementary, Jardine Middle School, and Topeka West High School, where she taught Mexican Folk Dance.
Private inurnment will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, 6th & Gage.
