She was born November 13, 1927, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Harbor and Eula (McCurdey) McDaniel.
Phyllis was a member of Western Hills Church.
Phyllis married Donald L. Randel on April 19, 1946, in Topeka, KS.
She is survived by her sons, Terry (Lazette) Randel,Auburn, Mark (Deva) Randel, Wakarusa; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and a daughter in law, Mary (Hays) Randel.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don; a son, Danny Randel; one brother, Rex McDaniel; three sisters, Eileen Bain, Bonnie Fry, and Lucille Lantis.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka, KS. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at Burlingame Cemetery.
