Don & I played horseshoes with Steve, he was always so much fun to play with. Always happy with a great attitude. May he rest in the Lords hands!

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Steve's death. I was on the G. Reapers softball team with Steve and we played our last season game on Monday, Aug 13. Steve was a great guy and fun to be around. May God be with the entire family at this most difficult time.

I had the pleasure of working with this Amazing person his last year before he retired. We all were devastated of the news of Steve's passing. Like many of you we are still in disbelief and cant wrap our heads around it. My deepest sympathy goes out to Steve's Family and Friends. May God help your hearts heal. God Bless

To Judy and family, I'm so sorry for your loss. Although I have not seen Steve for many years we played city league softball for a number of years in the late seventies. I remember Steve as always being light-hearted, funny and never had a bad word to say about anyone. His dry sense of humor was always good for a few laughs. The world could use a few more guys like Steve. Prayers to the family on your next journey.

Steve was such a great guy. His passing such a shock. All his antics and especially the practical jokes we played on each other are cherished memories. Steve was a joy to be around. I’m privileged to have had the opportunity to know and work with him. He made life fun even in the most trying circumstances. I remember him jacking up the back of Bill Schultz’s truck once. Bill got in to drive and the truck wouldn’t move. He thought the transmission went out. Steve did this sort of thing almost daily. You are greatly missed by your old friends. I can’t even imagine how much by your family. God bless all of you in this time of sorrow and the days to come.

We were shocked to learn of Steve's passing. We had the privilege of knowing Steve for many years from his working at the City and his association with our son-in-law Chad Schooler. Steve was always happy and goofy and a joy to be around. He loved his family and talked lovingly of his grandchildren. He will be missed by many people along with his family.
