There are so many memories growing up that you were part of, Chad. I remember you and Lindsey Kocher playing twins in the musical the King and I, water balloon fights on Bean Day, and, of course, always watching you wrestle. When you moved to Silver Lake our entire class was sad. Now, you've left us all too soon. Your family is in my prayers, dear friend.

So sad to hear about Chad this morning. I had worked with him about 11-12 years ago and had always enjoyed being on the same team while we worked. His smile and laughter were contagious and he worked hard at whatever task he was given. He shared his love for the youth that he coached....in the sports arena and in life. I'm sure that he will be missed by so many people. My heart goes out to all of you that were a part of Chad's life in some way. Love each other.

My thoughts and prayers are with all! I can remember playing with Chad at my house he and I would ride my little motorcycle around the house and through the ditch. I will always remember riding the motorcycle out to meet you guys as you were running down the road and the boys would be riding their bikes. I just got word on this today and wanted to touch base. Chad has stopped here in Goodland a couple of times on his way back and forth to Colorado and I met Ivette and we had a good visit; the visits are never long enough. Prayers Jarod

Dear Tonia, Johnny and Matthew, Ivette,
Alice said "Words will not bring him back to you, but they will bring you comfort".
It brought me comfort as I read testimonies of Chad's character and life.
My heart breaks for you all.
I pray our God will comfort you, that He will surround you with His love at this hard time.

I met chad 11 years ago through Labor pros. He was assigned to our account, our call guy. Anytime we need laborers we called Chad. He was a true professional, and always met our needs. Even if it meant calling at 5a.m. with a situation regarding our help for that day. Aside from our business relationship was a friendship. We would talk religiously and I was honored to be friends with a man that was as kind and caring as Chad was. He built men out of children and loved doing it. The world has lost a great man. I'm so very sorry to his family friends. May God rest your soul my friend.

Although we did not stay connected with one another, as we should have, when he moved to Silver Lake. Prayers for Chad's family. I am a neighbor to Ivette and Chad, he was always so kind to me and my children. He is going to be greatly missed.
~ Sarah G - August 20, 2018
I wish I could join you in celebrating Chad's life today. Over the last week, I've been thinking of Chad and the memories we shared together. As a kid, I remember spending my summers with Chad and Matt--especially during wheat harvest. We spent many hours together on the farm, riding together in grain truck and just having fun as kids. When Chad moved to Silver Lake, our time was limited to seeing each other at wrestling tournaments. Even though it was limited, we always picked up where we left off. He always took time to time to talk with me -- and listen. Whenever you talked with Chad, it seemed you were his sole focus--and he was genuinely interested on what was going on in your life. Whenever I had an indoor track meeting in Kearney, I could always count on him to come and watch --and catch up afterwards. It's been awhile since we last talked--but he I will always cherish our childhood spent together. My thoughts are with John "Flo", Nadine (and family), Matt, and Tonia (and family), Ivette--and countless other friends and family.

It's times like this when words aren't adequate to express how sad this makes me. Although I didn't know Chad well, he was always a fun kid to be around when ever JC's class would be together. A very polite & smiling person. My heart breaks for his family, you are in my thoughts & prayers! LuDell Smith

I remember Coach Flo always being a great friend and someone to look up to. He was a great coach in my high school wrestling career, 2011 to 2013. He’s always been there for me when I was looking for a new job to better myself in my career, one thing I remember him saying to me is, “You need to find something you love doing or you are going to be miserable the rest of your life doing something that you hate, I know tons of guys doing that and I don’t want to see you going down that path.” Going to miss you Flo, a lot, can’t wait to see you on the other side one day.
~ Brent Woodward - August 18, 2018
Most of my memories are from when we were kids. You and Matt were really the only cousins I could relate to. We always had a good time, even if it was just picking on eachother(or someone else). I love you cousin, and will cherish your memory always.
