Doreen Tefft, 92, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018.

She was born December 25, 1925, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and MarthaVera (Dunlap) Booher. She graduated from Washburn High School in 1944. Doreen was employed by the AT&SF Railroad for 30 years, retiring in 1988.

Doreen married Keith Tabor he preceded her in death. Doreen then married W.B. "Bill" Tefft, Sr. in 1969 and he preceded her in death in 1986.

She was a member Moose Lodge Ladies and the Shrine Nobelles.

Doreen loved shopping and traveling with family. She enjoyed playing Bingo. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include four daughters, Dianna L. (Ray) Wujcik, Karen L. Tabor, Joyce L. Tabor-Coker, Marti L. (Steve) Gilfillan; sister, Janice Docking, a brother, Richard Booher; six grandchildren, David Wujcik, Dawn Lacy, Candace Oldridge, Eric Tabor, Aubrey Burgett, Nathan Gilfillan; 14 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Warren Booher, Marge Hougland, Don Booher.

A memorial ceremony will be Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 11:00 at Mount Hope Chapel with a reception to follow. Private interment later.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children 440 Clayton Ave St. Louis, MO 63110.
