Paul was born on October 5th, 1995 in Topeka, Kansas. He was the son of Mark and Jean DeLay.
Paul attended Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic School, where he was a member of Boy Scout Troop #46. He graduated from Topeka High School in 2014. While attending Topeka High School, he participated in theater, choir, dancing and all aspects of art. Paul was especially talented at drawing. Paul had a deep, gentle, and humorous wit, in addition to a loyal spirit. He loved the outdoors, camping, water sports, gaming, novels, music and concerts.
Paul is survived by his mother, Jean DeLay; father, Mark DeLay; significant other, Jessie Wendler; half-brother, Devin DeLay; stepsiblings, Easton, Brooklyn and Nevaeh Tilton; stepmother, Charity DeLay; grandparents, George and Kathleen Prochaska, Alice DeLay and Walter McKinley; uncle, Mark Prochaska (Jan), aunts, Anne Landgraf (Kendall) Mona Packer (Ron); numerous cousins.
The visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel in Mid-Town, located at 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka, KS on Thursday, August 2, 2018. The memorial service will be Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Most Pure Heart Catholic Church, which is located at 3601 SW 17th Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Kansas Suicide Prevention Resource Center, 211 E. 8th, Suite C, Lawrence KS 66044.
