Marjorie Ann Springer, 77, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018.
She was born April 2, 1941, in Ottawa, Kansas, the daughter of Vincent and Mabel (Kincaid) Reedy.
Marjorie was employed by Capitol Federal for 26 years before retiring.
Marjorie married Gary Blakesley in 1959; they divorced in 1969. She then married Ron Springer on October 10, 1969 in Miami, OK.
Survivors include sons, Darren (Janet) Blakesley, Rodney (Monica) Springer, daughters, Kimberly (Kirby) Pope, Dana Singleton; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; a brother, John (Karen) Reedy and 3 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron; son, Joseph A. Blakesley; son-in-law, Tom Singleton; and a granddaughter, Hannah Marie Blakesley.
Marjorie enjoyed reading, shopping, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid fan of KU Basketball and the KC Royals.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Dover Federated Church, 13442 SW 57th St. Dover, Kansas 66420. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Dover Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Cir. Topeka, KS 66606.
