1934 - 2018

Robert K. “Bob” Anderson, age 83, passed away peacefully Friday, May 11, 2018.

Bob was born October 26, 1934, in Topeka, KS, the son of Paul L. Anderson and Constance “Connie” (Tilton) Anderson. He attended school at Washburn Rural and Topeka High before serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was stationed aboard the U.S.S. General A.E. Anderson.

Bob worked for 32 years as a mechanic freight carman for Santa Fe Railroad in Topeka.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Laura L. Anderson; and daughter, Angie L. Voigt.

He is survived by his three daughters, Terry Anderson Paletta, Lori Anderson (Tom Huzarevich) both of Topeka, and Sadie McKinley (Joshua Drew) of Minneapolis, MN; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Willis “Bill” Anderson (Roberta) of Fayetteville, AR.

A private memorial service will be held.
