1930 - 2018

Lola Mae Page, 88, of Topeka, passed away on April 7, 2018. Born March 26, 1930 in Niangua, MO, she was the daughter of Sherl and Julia Johns.

She graduated from Niangua High School.

Lola married Robert L. Page Jr. on May 22, 1954 in Kansas City, MO.

After many years as a secretary, she retired from USD 501.

She enjoyed sewing, quilting and embroidering. Lola loved cooking and baking. Everything she made was delicious! She also enjoyed gardening with her husband. Lola loved spending time with her family.

Lola was preceded in death by her husband, two brothers, Darrell and Bill; and a sister, Lucille.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Page-Ferrell of Topeka, three grandchildren, Justin Ferrell of Concordia, KS, Derek (Stephanie) Ferrell of Fort Myers, FL and Heather Ferrell of Clearwater, FL; three great-grandchildren, Piper and Mazey Ferrell and Grayson Ferrell, a sister, Leona Rayls, a sister-in-law, Darlene Palermo and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at West Lawn Memorial Gardens.
