Carolyn Mosby, 84, of Topeka, passed away on March 2, 2018. Born December 6, 1931 in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of Thomas and Helen Caldwell.

She graduated from Lincoln High School and later from Wilberforce University in Ohio.

Carolyn married Walter “Walt” Mosby on August 26, 1960.

She enjoyed music, family and camping all over the United States. Carolyn was an excellent cook. She was a member of the Institute of Divine Metaphysical Research.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, a grandson, Eric Jenkins, and a sister, Shirley Partee.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen Jenkins, step-son, Michael Brisco, a granddaughter, Breda, a grandson, Bryant, a great-granddaughter, Autumn, two sisters; Gilda Edwards and Laura Caldwell, a nephew, Mark and a host of other family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66605. The family will greet friends for one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Topeka Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the place of the donor’s choice.
