Oh Mrs. Mohn... You are an absolutely brilliant woman. Your heart and passion are truly remarkable. I was one of your students back at Pauline Central long ago and saw you several times when you started helping at the High School. You taught me perseverance and how to "correctly" pronounce chocolate. You are a gem that will truly be missed. I know you cared deeply for each of your students and I can honestly say you are one of the few teachers who are able to remember those students MANY years later. I met you when I was 5 and 21 years later I still have the same love for you. I am so lucky to have been your student and I am so happy that your family was able to be with a remarkable woman their entire life. Thank you for the brief time I was able to have with you.

I had Mrs Mohn as a volleyball and basketball coach way back at Auburn Jr High. Both my children had her also. We all LOVED HER!!
It wasn't until I was way into adult hood and playing weekly volleyball with her that she made me call her Sandy instead of Mrs Mohn. It took me awhile.
My heart aches for your family. Sandy was a special woman who made anyone in her path feel special.
My condolences and prayers go to you

Megan (David & family)- your mother positively touched the lives of so many, and was no- doubt the favorite teacher of anyone who was fortunate enough to be in her class. She was the first person with an accent I'd ever met!! Wishing you good memories, warm hearts, calm and peace in this transitional time of loss .

Sandy was a wonderful friend and colleague at Pauline Central. She was a very kind person who always gave me a boost when I needed it most. I know my son, Austin, enjoyed going to PE every school day from K-3rd grade. Sandy was a blessing for many!

My condolences to the family of Ms. Mohn. I was also a student of hers in the mid 80's. She was an awesome teacher. I always laughed when she'd tell me threw my school years when we ran into each other, that my long distance jump record still wasn't broken. It floored me that just last year when I ran into her, she remembered who I was also asking about friends in my class and of course had to tell me that my record was finally broken a few years before she retired from PC. No idea how she remembered being 30 plus years ago with all the kids going threw that school. Mrs. Mohn will be missed she was one of the best!

Mrs. Mohn, taught me how to square dance in 4th grade at Pauline Central elementary. Although I would never of admitted it then, it was the most fun I ever had in school. Her encouragemnet and enthusiam was inspiring. I don't know if she remembered me, but she would always wave to me as she walked along my route to and from work as a teacher myself. Thank you Mrs. Mohn for inspiring me to become a teacher. You will be missed.
