Brent Tracy Remington, 76, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at a Topeka hospital. He was born May 29, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Leroy and Ruth B. (Huntington) Remington.

Brent graduated from East High School at Kansas City, Missouri in 1960. He resided in Kansas City, Missouri for 37 years prior to moving to Topeka in 1979. He was an Insurance Agent in the in the insurance industry from 1966 through 2005 when he retired with the American General Life and Accident Insurance Company.

Brent married Elda Resz on February 26, 1966 in Kansas City, Missouri. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Damon C. Remington of Topeka, one step-sister, Carolyn Turner and two cousins, Robert G. Warner and Ruth Ann Magill.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to TARC, 2701 SW Randolph St., Topeka, Kansas 66611 or to Sheltered Living, 3401 SW Harrison St., Topeka, Kansas 66611.
