1959 - 2017

Gary Lee Rodecap, 58, passed away in the early evening of November 8th, 2017 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born on March 3rd, 1959 to George and Mary (Wells) Rodecap of Meriden. He grew up in Meriden, KS and graduated from Jefferson West High School in 1977.

He enjoyed farming and hunting all his life and he worked for the Shawnee County Dept of Roads for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Annette, daughter Morgan, and stepson Brandon (Selena) McNaul. He also leaves behind: his sister Nancy (Craig) Brown of Meriden, Steve (Lori) Rodecap of Meriden, Greg (Daytha) Rodecap of Oklahoma, many nieces and nephews, granddaughter, Harper McNaul of Topeka, and plenty of extended family members. He (and his jokes and stories) will be missed without a doubt.

The family welcomes anyone to visit on Monday, Nov 13 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Services will be held on Tuesday, Nov 14 at 10:30 am at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Gary Lee Rodecap Memorial Fund sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604.
