Lucille Curls-Mosley, 60, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at Midland Hospice House.

Lucille was born February 4, 1954 in Turrell, AR, the daughter of Posh and Gertrude Alston. She attended school in Arkansas and Kansas and received her Bachelor’s degree in Business from Baker University in 2008.

She worked in the Medical field in the early 80’s in Long Beach, CA, and later as a Customer Service Representative with Hill Pet Nutrition in Topeka, retiring in 2009.

She professed her belief and love for Jesus Christ for at an early age. She instilled that love in each of her children and friends. She was a great mother and grandmother as well. Her favorite Bible chapter is 1 Corinthians 13, “The Love Chapter”.

Family that is left to carry on God’s will, include her beloved friend, confident and husband, Eugene Alan Mosely; children, Stanley Phillips (Jodi), Myra Curls Pass; Larry (Laru) Curls; son-in-law, A.J. Pass; 14 grandchildren; sisters, Hattie Clark, Fannie Mae Whitaker; and a host of friends; and a close and dear friend, Deanna Douglas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
