Catherine Louise Hockenbarger, 59, Topeka, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014.
She was born February 13, 1955 in Kansas City, Kansas, the daughter of Lester and Violet (Rhodes) Colvin.
She attended McLouth High School.
Catherine was a nurse’s aide for various nursing homes throughout Topeka.
On August 2, 1980, she married Harold Dean Hockenbarger in Topeka, Kansas. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Larry Young, Bonner Springs, Kansas; Vickie Johnston, Topeka; and Craig Hockenbarger, Topeka; her siblings, Leonard Colvin, Burlingame, Kansas; Bonita Kenyon, Oskaloosa, Kansas; Ellen Young, Bonner Springs, Kansas and David Colvin, Topeka; and two grandchildren, Lizabeth and Clatyon Hockenbarger, both of Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Catherine wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
