John R. Hatton, 69, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, June 16, 2016.
He was born November 27, 1946, in Colorado, the son of Charles and Mary (Dehaven) Hatton. He was a graduate of Washburn Rural High School and a United States Air Force veteran.
John worked at Adams Business Forms for many years and later Walmart. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Topeka.
John married Judith Kay Lacen on May 1, 1970. She preceded him in death on February 13, 2010.
Survivors include daughters, Cathy Hatton and Becky Porter; son, Steven Hatton; grandchildren, Ryan Porter, Andrew Hatton, Samantha (Xavier) Barksdale, Shayliegh Hatton, Tyliegh Hatton; Luciana Hatton, and Coren Hatton; and great-granddaughter, Bri.
Memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, June 26, 2016, at East Side Baptist Church, 4425 SE 29th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66605. Memorial contributions may be made to the church. Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel is assisting the family.
