Raymond A. Robinson, 80, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016.

He was born May 23, 1936, in Prescott, Kansas, the son of Arthur and Lena (Ferguson) Robinson.

He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.

Ray was self employed as a finish trim carpenter.

Ray was a member of the First Baptist Church of Topeka and the Faithbuilders Sunday School class as well as the American Legion Post 100.

Ray married Janet S. Robinson on June 10, 1956 in Emporia. She survives.

Other survivors include daughter Carrie Logan (Cal) of Topeka, daughter Sandra Gosser (Alan) of Topeka, daughter Laura Marion (Robert) of Olathe; grandson Austin Alvarado, granddaughter Amanda Alvarado, granddaughter Jessica Meyer (Kyle), granddaughter Lindsey Jones (Luke), granddaughter Jenna Marion, granddaughter Natalie Marion; great granddaughter Trinity Alvarado, great granddaughter Amarin Alvarado, great granddaughter Mariah Alvarado, great granddaughter Hadley Meyer, great grandson Xavier Alvarado, great grandson Taylor Alvarado, great grandson Benjamen Bowen, great grandson Jaxson Bowen; sisters Florence McQuitty, Mildred Hayes and Billie Jean Rollins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am., Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the First Baptist Church, 3033 SW MacVicar, Topeka where the family will receive friends and relatives one hour prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Gardens.
