Michael Ray Murdock, 66, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2016.
He was born September 12, 1949, in Noblesville, Indiana, the son of Robert Murdock and Vaila (Holt) Whitla. He was a U.S. veteran serving during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his brother, Jesse Whitla and his wife, Jane Detwiler; aunt, Jewel Florea and close friends, Dana Jones and her husband Shunta and Samantha Munoz and David Munoz.
A graveside memorial will be held at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 10 a.m.
