Rowena Mae Roma, 63, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at her home after a courageous battle against breast cancer. She was born July 18, 1952 in Lincoln, Nebraska, the daughter of Walter and Joan (Bradley) Huegel.
Rowena graduated from Redlands High School in Redlands, California. She resided in San Bernardino, California before moving to Topeka in April, 1992.
Rowena married Ronnie S. Roma on November 6, 1972 in San Bernardino, California. He survives. Other survivors include their children, Anthony (Candace) Roma and Michael (Jeannie) Roma, Michelle, 9 grandchildren, and her sister, Elizabeth (Matthew) Huegel-Conklin and her aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
