James "Jim" Franklin Noland, 85, passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Healthcare, Topeka, KS.

Jim was born on July 17, 1930, in Enid, OK. He attained his GED while serving in the Army. Jim was in the Korean War, and received an Honorable discharge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. and Bertha D. (Champney) Noland; brothers, John Noland and Bertie Noland; sisters, Monta J. King, Beulah Gerhard and Bertha Kammerzell; son, Robert L. Noland; step-son, Jerry R. Zejda; great-grandson, Christian Framoso.

Survivors include his wife, Vida M. Noland; step-son, Gerry L. Zejda, of Denver, CO; three step-daughters, Betty L. (Paul) Fultz, of Bagley, MN; Carol S. (Leon) Lemons, of Topeka, KS, and Peggy A. Zejda, of Albuquerque, NM; two grandsons, Byron P. (Elizabeth) Fultz, of Oakboro, NC, Derek L. (Aida) Fultz, of Acworth, GA; Terri A. (Stan) Jackson, of Bonaire, GA; Debbie K. (Larry) Horton, of Tecumseh, KS; Kimberly S. (Steve) Draper, of Macon, GA; Suzie R. (Chris) Famoso, of Gilbert, AZ and Sara M. Zejda, of Gilbert, AZ; one daughter-in-law, Gena Lee, of Gilbert, AZ; 14 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Special people: Natasha Gallimore and children; George and Sylvia Champney and Erick, Joe and Debra Labianco and family; and many family members and friends.

A memorial service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel. Private inurnment will be held at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
