Brian John Hamilton passed away on July 1, 2015. He was born in Topeka, Kansas, on October 17, 1968, to John and Shirley Hamilton.

He graduated from Washburn Rural High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Kansas State University.

Brian was a Superintendent for Emerson Construction Company for over 25 years.

Brian married Joni Beightel of Holton, Kansas, and they later divorced. He married Carol Maddux in 2012, who survives. Brian is also survived by a son, Mason Hamilton, and a daughter, Bailey Hamilton, his parents, John R. Hamilton and Shirley Hamilton, his stepfather, Harley Emerson, and his children, and his sister Michele Franklin (Jim), five step brothers and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., July 11, 2015, at First Congregational Church. Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
