Jackie Leon “Jack” Shupe, 56, of Topeka, passed away May 4, 2015.

He was born in Topeka, on November 3, 1958, the son of Jackie E. and Janet Shupe.

He attended Saint Matthew Catholic Grade School and was a 1977 graduate of Highland Park High School, and attended Kaw Area Vo-Tech School.

Jack started out as a printer for the State of Kansas and then became a truck driver for various trucking firms over the years.

Jack enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, participated in numerous charity Harley rides, was a talented handy man, a collector of everything, and used his skills to help others.

He married Patty Stephens on August 1, 1997 in Topeka.

Jack is survived by his wife; step daughter, Becky (David) Headrick of Dalton, Georgia; step son, Joe Stephens of Topeka; step grandson, Derrick Headrick; brother, Martin (Brenda) Shupe, Owasso, OK.; sisters, Gena (Karl) Wiggins, Leina (Rocky) Cox, all of Topeka and Zanetta (Stan) Aubry of Imperial, Mo; nieces and nephews, Chris Wiggins, Levi Shupe, Amber (Braden) Beck, Ty (Liz) Cox, Jessica Wiggins, Paul (Amanda) Cox, Megan (Scott) Herman, Cortney Shupe, Raina Shupe and Brody Aubry; and great nephews and great niece, Ethan Lamantia, Carter Cox, Garrett Herman and Elise Cox; and brother in law, Vern (Kathy) Renninger, Beckley, WV. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Freeman and Josephine Shupe, Leslie and Loretta Thomas and mother-in-law, Page Reid.

Cremation has taken place and per Jack's wishes, no service will be held.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission.
