Robert D. “Bob” VanCleave, 59, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home. He was born December 29, 1955 in Topeka, the son of Harry and Irma Crawford VanCleave.
Bob graduated from Washburn Rural High School.
He was employed by Falley’s Food For Less for over 30 years.
Bob married Cynthia Kay Maddox on September 26, 1981. She preceded him in death on October 8, 1997. He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Harry VanCleave, Jr., John Henry VanCleave and David LaVerne VanCleave.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristina L. VanCleave, one grandson, Kyler R. Fairchild and three sisters, Donna J. Brown, Janet L. James and Doris L. White.
Memorial services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Bob graduated from Washburn Rural High School.
