Rose Marie “Rosie” Vobach, 88, Topeka, passed away July 18, 2018.

Rosie was born May 19, 1930 in Hoyt, Kansas the daughter of Charles and Margurite (Mercer) Nauheim.

She married Duane E. Vobach August 29, 1948 in Topeka, Kansas. He preceded her in death.

Rosie worked at Macy’s and Dillard’s for many years. She loved to sit in her swing and watch the red birds from her porch. Rosie always looked forward to the 4th of July, watching the fireworks and spending time with family. She also enjoyed the family dinners on Sunday evenings.

Survivors include son, Michael (Joanne) Vobach, Topeka; daughters, Mary Ann (Tom) Shomber, Susan Vobach, Topeka; grandchildren, Pete (Mende) Vobach, Shane Vobach, Ryan (Rebecca) Vobach, Tia Shomber (Danny), Brice Shomber and great-children, Madisyn Vobach, Rhylee Vobach, Tenley Vobach, Maddox Anderson and Natalie Vobach; sister, Beth Kay Bosch and several nieces, Topeka.

Family will greet friends Monday, July 23, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th Topeka from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorial Service will be Thursday, July 26 at 1:00 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery and Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will follow.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Midland Hospice Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, KS 66606.
