Cynthia Lee (Weick) Edmonds, 46, of Berryton, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018.

She was born October 12, 1971, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Norman and Betty (Dieckmann) Weick.

She graduated from Washburn Rural High School 1990.

Cindy was employed by the Shawnee County Rural water District #8 for 19 years.

Cindy married Jerry Edmonds on August 19, 2000 in Tecumseh, KS.

She was an avid NASCAR fan and was especially fond of Dale Earnhardt, Jr.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Edmonds; son, Jesse Edmonds; two sisters, Tammy Moore (Ned), Kim Weick (James); several nieces and nephews and two great nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty and an infant sister, Deanna.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave. Topeka, KS 66604. A celebration of Cindy's life will be Friday, April 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Netawaka Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Jesse Edmonds Education Fund sent in care of Core First Bank and Trust, 3035 SW Topeka, Blvd. Topeka, KS 66611.
