Shirley A. Sherretts, 67, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 after a brief illness.

She was born June 6, 1950, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Louis and Delene (Redenbaugh) Sherretts. She graduated from Meriden High School in 1968.

Shirley was a help desk technician with State of Kansas for over 40 years.

She was a member of Meriden Community Church, KAW Valley Woodcarvers Association and a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts.

Survivors include her father; sister, Kim Sherretts, Topeka; brother, Rick (Debbie) Sherretts, Leavenworth; nephew, Marcus Sherretts; niece, Amanda Sherretts and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shirley enjoyed traveling, crafts and her dogs, Cassie and Chloe.

Shirley will lie in state after 12 noon Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel and the family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 12, 2018 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, KS 66604.
