William is survived by his wife Remigia Hill, his children: son Kenneth Hill, son/daughter-in-law Ronald & Crystal Perez, daughters Catherine Ratcliff & Diana Arsenault, daughter/son-in-law Veronica & Don Starkweather, sister/brother-in-law Earlane & Ralph Cavallaro, nephew/niece-in-law Brent & Tricia Cavallaro and niece/great nephew Kristina & Xavier Cavallaro, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandkids. He is preceded in death by his parents Edgar Earl Hill and Margaret Catherine Hill of East St. Louis, IL.
William was an Avionics Instrument System Technician in the United States Air Force; a Vietnam Veteran, who enlisted in 1965 after graduating from high school. He proudly served his country for 20 years until his retirement on March 1985. As a military retiree, he continued to utilize his skills as an Avionics Instrument System Technician for 28 more years working for Lockheed Corporation. He officially retired from the workplace in 2013 and settled in Kansas with his family.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 20th, 2018 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel on 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, Kansas 66604. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
