Daryl K. Roudybush, 76, of Lampe, MO, formerly of Topeka, passed away Friday, December 8, 2017.

He was born January 6, 1941, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Maurice and Cleta (Hamby) Roudybush. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1959. He attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and Washburn University.

Daryl retired as a Treasurer from Santa Fe Railroad after 30 years of service. After retirement he fulfilled his life long dream of living on Table Rock Lake.

He was a member of the Christian Associates, Coast Guard Auxiliary on Table Rock, P.O.A., Topeka Bible Church, First Baptist Church in Kimberling City, MO, Seward Avenue Baptist Church and The Joy Singers Music Group.

Daryl married Kay Ward on October 24, 2009 in Kimberling City, MO. She survives. Other survivors include daughters, Renee Carter, Topeka; Penny Freeman, Wichita; step-daughters, Terri L. Gake, Overland Park and Cheryl Mefferd, Hollister, MO; sister, Janet McClanahan, Brazil, South America; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 45 years, Leanna Roudybush, parents and brother, Duane Roudybush.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Mount Hope Cemetery & Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ABWE or Janet McClanahan c/o the funeral home, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka, KS 66604 or First Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 2 Lakeshore Dr., Kimberling City, MO 65686.
