She was born March 29, 1926, in Dwight, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Jessie Reynoso. She graduated from Dwight High School.
Mary was briefly employed with Santa Fe Railroad and spent most of her life as a homemaker, raising her children and caring for those she loved. Whether it was hosting friends for a cup of coffee in her kitchen, volunteering to babysit for friends and family, or chatting on the phone, Mary was a nurturer above all. As the family matriarch, Mary took care of those she loved both emotionally and physically. For those lucky enough to have had them, she will forever be famous for her perfect chicken and noodles
She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church, where she loved joining her siblings weekly for Mass.
She married Kenneth R. Noe on November 1, 1948 in Lawrence, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 1, 1986. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Bea Addington, Tony Reynoso, Josie Lowe and two brothers-in-law, Merle Jennings, Ron Addington.
She is survived by three children, Corinne (David) Kidd, Bruce Noe, Adrian Noe; five siblings, Corky Briel, Mary Ann Jennings, Dan (Vivian) Reynoso, Louise (Floyd) Rockers, Paul (Peggy) Reynoso and sister-in-law, Mary Belle Reynoso and brother-in-law, Richard Lowe; four grandchildren, Justin Kidd, Jennifer Hupe, Nikki (Ryan) Gilliland and Kyle (Jes) Noe and four great-grandchildren, Alison, Nolan, Reed and Warren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, 2017 at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 2700 SE Virginia, Topeka, Kansas 66605. Interment will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, November 30 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel followed by visitation until 8:00 p.m.
