Brent Thomas Warner

Brent Thomas Warner, 47, Hoyt, died Friday, November 10, 2017, in an accident north of Topeka on NW 86th. He was born August 27, 1970, in Topeka, the son of Arthur Neil, and Patricia Ann “Patty” (Dick) Warner.

Brent lived in Topeka most of his life. He had been employed at Dick’s Refrigeration with his grandfather, Caldwell John Deere, Goodyear, PTMW, and Capitol Federal Savings Bank. He was a jack of all trades.

He was a member of ABATE’s Fourth District; Seaman Community Church; and the National Rifle Association. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, morel hunter, who loved riding his Harley and fixing up his truck. Brent enjoyed farming and being out in nature with his friends. He was always ready for a good time and would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it.

On April 21, 2012, he was married to the love of his life and the queen of his heart, Rebecca Ellen “Becca” Jack at Topeka.

Surviving are his wife, Becca, of the home; a daughter Sadie Dawn Warner of Carbondale; his father: Neil Warner of Bullhead City, AZ; paternal grandmother: Dorothy Warner of Topeka; two grandchildren; Leonia Ngole and Derek Ngole both of Topeka; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and “adopted” brothers and sisters. Also surviving are his devoted fur babies: Sydney Ann, Nessie, Kurgan Oreius, and Carl.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty; his maternal grandparents: James Arthur and Dorothy Dick; and his paternal grandfather: Arthur J. “A.J.” Warner, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, November 17, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka. Brent will lie in state from 3:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, at the funeral chapel. Per Brent’s wishes, cremation will follow.

Immediately following the visitation there will be a celebration of life at C.G.’s Lounge, 407 NW Lyman Road, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to ABATE of Kansas, P.O. Box 102, Perry, KS 66073.
