She was born July 4, 1927 in Trinidad, CO, the daughter of Nemesio and Phyllis Vigil.
“Weary of reading obituaries noting someone’s courageous battle with death, Dolores wanted it known that she died as a result of being stubborn, refusing to follow doctors’ orders and raising hell for more than 9 decades. She enjoyed cooking for her kids, crafting, gardening and got very good at coloring until the day she died.”
She is survived by 6 children, 25 grand children, 16 great grand children.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Harold and son Martin as well as all her siblings.
Mrs. Aragon will lie in state after 1:00 pm, Friday, October 20 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 SW. 10th Ave. where the family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:30 that evening. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 21 at the funeral home with burial to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
