In Memory Of
Grant Pierce Sackrider

Grant Pierce Sackrider, 18, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, September 19th, at his home.

Grant’s deep understanding and perception of the universe made him different from the rest of us. He could discuss quantum physics, language, history, and philosophy on an advanced and unorthodox level. His true passions were photography and music. He mastered singing, piano, guitar, and could be seen performing in Lawrence.

He loved discovering, exploring, and skateboarding. Grant had no fear of anything, including death. He became a Christian this summer.

Services will be held at four pm, Tuesday, 26 September at El-Shaddai Church,1248 S.W. Buchanan, a place Grant loved to explore for its architecture and rich history.

A celebration of Grant’s life will be at Western Hills Church at 2900 SW Auburn Road at five-thirty that evening.

Grant leaves his parents, Kristin and Scott, siblings Drake and Valerie, and too many relatives and friends to count.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to The Americana Music Academy, 1419 Massachusetts St, Lawrence, KS 66044 at www.americanamusicacademy.com
or The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org
