Ronald M. Campbell, 72, of Topeka, went Home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 on his way to Yellowstone National Park. He was born July 3, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the son of Bill T. and Marybelle (Montgomery) Campbell.

Ronald graduated from the University of Tulsa. He was employed by Standard Register for 40 years before retiring in 2009. He was an active member of East Side Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon.

Ronald married Deborah "Debbie" Mitchell on March 29, 1969 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Ron (Becky) Campbell, Jenny (Brennan) Wilcox, four grandchildren, Parker, Sarah, Alex and Aidan and his siblings, Steve Campbell, Arthur Campbell and Janet Laughlin.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at East Side Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to East Side Baptist Church, 4425 SE 29th St., Topeka, Kansas 66605.
