Gary Lynn Brungardt, 66, of Meriden, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2017 at his home. He was born July 13, 1951 in San Angelo, Texas, the son of Gregory V. and Fern O. (Rongstad) Brungardt.

Gary graduated from Seaman High School in 1970. He was employed by IBP in Emporia, Gregg Tire and Essex Wire in Topeka before retiring due to health issues. He was a member of the Family Life Nazarene Church in Topeka.

Gary enjoyed listening to Gospel and country music, the Trinity Broadcasting Network and FOX News.

Gary married Pamela Sue Lincoln on April 7, 1981 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Derek Brungardt of Meriden and Evan Brungardt of Topeka, one daughter, Michelle Keaton of Ottawa, two grandsons, one great-grandson and his siblings, Mary (Jim) Thompson of Dennison, Texas and Janet (Mike) Manis of Topeka.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Family Life Nazarene Church, 1211 NW 46th St., Topeka, Kansas 66618. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
