Rodney R. Miller, 78, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017. He was born January 28, 1939 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Raymond and Pink (Blankenship) Miller.

Rodney was an Air Force Veteran from 1961 - 1965. He was employed by the Kansas Air National Guard for 27 years before retiring. He was an active member of the Studebaker Club.

Rodney married Carol L. Harrop on April 23, 1966 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Lisa (David) Merrill and Mark Miller both of Topeka, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson and his siblings, Maude Ciesiolka, Justin Miller, Lyle Miller and Leslie Miller.

Rodney was preceded in death by his two brothers, Mac Miller and Roy Miller.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Rodney will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 -7:30 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
