Judy J. Price, 74, of Wakarusa, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at a hospital in Topeka.

She was born October 3, 1942 in Osage City, KS to Alfred and Sylvia Wright.

Judy was confirmed at Stotler Mission Church, Osage City and a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka.

She attended Osage City High School.

She and her husband owned and operated Solar Enterprises; she worked for CASA, and was active with overseeing 34 foster children, and served in many other community services.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Price, of the home; a son David G. (Alisia) Price, Topeka; sister, Nancy (Floyd) Overholt; two brothers, Richard Wright, Overbrook and David (Connie) Wright, Osage City.

Judy leaves behind 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who love her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Sylvia Wright; a son, Charles E. Price, II; two sisters, Patricia Orender, Wanda France; one brother Alfred (Arlene) Wright, Jr.; two nieces and two nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Christ Lutheran Church, 3509 SW Burlingame Road. Burial will follow in Osage City Cemetery.

Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting the family.
