Connie Mast Snyder

Connie Eileen Mast Snyder was born on November 23, 1944, in Topeka. She received her angel wings on March 17, 2017.

Connie graduated from Topeka High School in 1962. After raising her three wonderful children she returned to school to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Washburn University in order to fulfill her calling of helping others. She graduated from Washburn and then went to work for the State of Kansas. She also worked at the Shawnee County Health Department and St. Francis Hospital.

While helping others was her calling, Connie’s passion was her family.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Peggy Mast, and brother, Bobby Mast.

Left to cherish her memory are children: Debbie Snyder (Jerry Sylvester) of Lawrence, Linda Davis (Doug) of Topeka, and Rick Snyder of Topeka; grandchildren: Karla Silsby (Mike), Ashley Kerr, Joel Snyder, Justin Snyder, and Abigail Snyder; great-grandchildren: Kaedrik, Haven, and Addison Silsby, all of Topeka; sister: Nancy Davis (Gary) of Monroe, VA; niece: Heather Mast of Houston, TX; and many wonderful friends.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 NW Independence Avenue, Topeka, KS.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, Monday, at the funeral chapel.
