He was born on September 27, 1943 to De and Helen Ratterree in Cabool, Missouri.
Robert married Dorothy (McKee) in 1964.
In his spare time Robert loved to fish, shoot skeet, reload shells, hunt, be the neighborhood handyman and was a proud grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his father, mother; and one sister, Deanna Dally.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Robert Ratterree and Chuck (Michele) Ratterree; three grandchildren, Lee Auman, Alicia Ratterree, Wyatt Ratterree; one great-grandchild, Cecilia Rabe.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Ave., Topeka. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas Hospice Care, 6828 Silverheel Street Shawnee, Kansas 66226.
