Harvey L. Pelton, 75, of Tecumseh, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at his home. He was born February 17, 1942 in Holton, Kansas, the son of Harvey A. and Ethel M. (Clark) Pelton.
Harvey graduated from Topeka High School in 1960. He began his Military Career in the Navy in 1960 and served in various other branches of the Military in 1997. He later was employed by Flight Safety International for seven years before retiring in 2004.
Harvey married Martha M. Fritsch on June 10, 1961 at Mercier, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include their children, Patricia Ann Robinett, Kevin Leon Pelton, Tracy Wayne Pelton and Pamela Sue Moyer, 10 grandchildren, Cassie, Jason, Anthony, Joshua, Steven, Michael, Benjamin, Zachary, Nicole and Andrew, 4 great-grandchildren, Elise, Analeigh, Lily and Avery and his brother, Leonard A. Pelton.
Harvey was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Wayne Pelton on November 20, 1963.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.
