Terry E. Taliaferro, 62, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Terry was born March 22, 1954, the son of Eugene and Edna Mae Taliaferro. He attended Highland Park High School and Kaw Valley Vo- Tech School.

He worked at Steel Fixtures for 14 years and later with Delta Design as a Spot Welder for over 29 years, retiring in 2016.

He enjoyed hot rods and had a 65 Buick Skylark Grand Sport. His hobbies were skating, watching movies, and he was an avid reader.

Survivors include sister, Gina Constant; brother, Meril Taliaferro, both of Topeka; nephews, Jason (Sarah) Johnson, Noah Seagrove; nieces, Tammi (Adam) Toland, Jessica Boldin, Trina Boldin; great-nieces, Lexy, Makayla, Mattison, Brianna; and great-nephews, Skylar, Kaiden, Aiden and Donovin. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Garden Chapel at Topeka Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 16, 2017.
