Sharon J. Fletcher, 68, Silver Lake, passed away on December 5, 2016 at Peggy Kelly House 2.

Sharon was born on August 28, 1948 in San Antonio, Texas to George and Margaret (Vester) Bolton.

She graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1966.

She married Arthur E. Fletcher, Jr. on May 1, 1970 in Topeka, Kansas.

Sharon was known for her gentle and kind spirit. She was passionate, supportive, and enjoyed giving to others.

She is survived by her husband, Art of Silver Lake; daughter Kelly Fletcher of Richmond, Virginia; daughter Jennifer Fletcher of Topeka; son Dr. Brian Fletcher of Boca Raton, Florida; three sisters, Debi Naegele, Barbara Negrete, and Denise Crawford. She is also survived by three grandchildren, as well as one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Rick and Dan Bolton.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at the Silver Lake First Baptist Church, 3439 NW Hoch Road, Silver Lake, KS 66539.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid-Town Chapel, 1321 SW 10th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66606. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel cemetery at 2:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3625 SW 29th St. Suite 102, Topeka, KS 66614.
