Elvin D. Keltner, 86, of Topeka, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 in Lawrence.

He was born July, 13 1930 on Topeka, the son of Ernest and Maude Keltner.

Elvin was a graduate of Topeka High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a printer. He went to work for Patterson Advertising as Vice President of Production. He later purchased Western Bindery Products and continued to operate his company until it closed in 2001.

He married Arlene Schuler on December 31, 1950. She preceded him in death in 2003.

Survivors include a daughter Terri Donahue (Patrick) of Lawrence and a son, Gary L. Keltner of Owatona, MN; grandchildren Stephen Keltner, Michayla Goodman, Cory White and Taylor White and 4 great grandchildren, Asher, Luca, Oliver and Ophelia.

Elvin will lie in state after 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, 1321 S.W. 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 7:00 p.m. that evening. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 5 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 2021 W. 29th St., Topeka, KS 66611.
